Local Power Campaigns

Sometimes, it takes a campaign.

Local Power has educated and engaged tens of thousands of local officials, activists, experts and companies to make CCA what it is today. Our staff have scored numerous state and local campaign wins for Community Choice Aggregation, Solar Bonds, and other local energy initiatives. We got Caliornia's CCA 2.0 law, AB117, passed and won public approval the world's first Green Bond in San Francisco to finance local renewable and energy efficiency projects deployments. When the utilities attacked, Local Power led the historic defeat of PG&E's Proposition 16 in 2010, which the San Francisco Bay Guardian called "one of the great progressive victories in California history."
