Sunset for Carbon

Scientists now agree that a virtual replacement of our energy system is required to avert catastrophic changes in the Earth's climate. While many are focused on greening the existing power supply with green mega-grid projects, Local Power has proven that localization, decarbonization of buildings and transportation are the only way forward.

Local Power uniquely recognizes the singular importance of localization and demand reduction to achieve decarbonization: not just solar and renewable distributed generation but appliance automation, microgrids, thermal loops, and energy storage in the form of electric vehicles and hydrogen. To deliver the energy transition, pathways to new ways of sharing energy resources are needed. Our new CCA 3.0 program is the path - beyond fossil-fueled "fires and wires" to a whole new relationship to energy.
