Local Power - National CCA Prospectus for 2018
It looks like we finally have a movement.
With California switching to Community Choice en masse and New York launching a promising new CCA program, Massachusetts is commencing a second wave of CCAs based on the localization-centric CCA 2.0 concept. While only just getting started, CCA is already taking on national significance in renewable energy development pipeline statistics; at scale, this will have a massive impact for climate mobilization and define pathways for widespread replication. Now that CCAs have seriously embraced the CCA 2.0 concept, Local Power's "version three" nation-wide model of CCA, CCA 3.0, to be released in Spring of 2020, presents the first truly climate-action-scale application of an already powerful new business model for energy.
